During 2021 Jess will be supporting 5 riders and their horses with regular treatments to keep them in tip top condition. Look out for these riders competing around the country this coming year.

Jess will be posting regular updates on the horse’s treatments and adventures on Facebook and on her Blog.

Beth George

‘I’m a 21 year old, show jumper who runs a livery / competition yard in Gloucestershire.

‘Over the years, I’ve had successful results with a range of horses at British Show Jumping up to Foxhunter level.

Currently my main horse Diablo De L’Abbaye, a 6yr old, Selle Francais is competing up to Foxhunter level with consistent results including clears and placings at almost all shows attended within the last 2 months.

As well as him I compete other horses too on behalf of owners and also dabble in hunter trials, team chasing and will be having a go at working hunters with my super 8yr old, welsh section D, Garlance Sonny Jim.‘

Ali Lane

Ali is a British Dressage (BD) Registered Trainer and UKCC Qualified Coach. She's also an Equipilates™ instructor and Rider Biomechanics coach. In Ali’s own words…

‘Flory (florylee) is a 9yr old 16.3 Hanoverian gelding by floriscount. He’s working at elementary level and we are aiming at summer regionals. He’s not competed so we are planning on building his confidence between the boards over the winter with lots of training and clinics.

Smartie (Woodlander Sacramento) is a 7 yr old 16.3 British warmblood by Woodlander Santana. He’s been rehabbed over the last 12months due to an injury but is getting stronger all the time. Physio and massage have played a very important in his rehabilitation. I’m hoping to take him out at novice level in the new year.’

Charlotte Bowden

‘Hi, my name’s Charlotte and I’m a 19 year old dressage rider. I’m currently in my second year of university at Hartpury studying Equine Science. My horse’s name is Rohan Mistral otherwise known as Finn.

Together we mainly compete in dressage although occasionally show and go to lots of fun rides in summer. I am also hoping to get out jumping properly as well. Finn and I have had so many ups and downs since my Nan brought him originally as a happy hack. At one point I refused to ride him after a nasty near miss out hacking. After finally getting our confidence back in 2018 and feeling on top form we had an unfortunate rotational fall whilst out hacking on my first day at uni! Not the start we wanted. Somehow we both walked away relatively unscathed.

However earlier this year we noticed he was struggling more and more to bend to the right and after an assessment by physio we discovered he’d pulled his right neck muscles leading to tightness through his back as well. We have now successfully completed rehab and I can’t wait to work with Jess to help keep him supple and relaxed.’

Amy Parkes

‘Hey Everyone, I'm Amy Parkes from the West Midlands.

I'm yard manager at North Worcestershire Equestrian Centre.

I came here on work experience many years ago and never left! You could say I'm now part of the furniture here!!

Riding horses is certainly in my blood, following in the foot steps of my late Mother. I've been so fortunate to have been able to compete some fabulous horses over the years in many disciplines such as Showing, Eventing, Endurance and Sidesaddle. My main passion is Dressage.

My currently horses are the fabulously gorgeous Haflinger Stallion Stagsden Amaretto, Rocky to his mates! I produced him from a 3 year old and he is now 16 years young. We are currently training at Advanced Medium and hope to at least wear top hat and tails in the next few years!

My other horse is 6 year old Hanavarian mare Flamenco III, Saffy to her mates! I've owned her since she was 2. We are currently training at Novice/Elementary at home. She has been out to a few affiliated shows showing great promise so our ultimate goal and dream is to get to Grand Prix, but for now I'm so happy producing this is extremely talented mare.

I'm so fortunate to be working with Jessica, my horses are kept in tip top condition with her wealth of knowledge.’
